An internship, co-op, or similar program can give you an advantage in the job market or graduate admissions process, confirm your choice of career field, and teach you valuable skills. During the 2006-2007 school year there were 412 co-op/intern placements reported.

Career Advising Talk with a career advisor and staff of the co-op/intern office to identify ways of getting experience. Job Shadow: An Externship Program Participate in a one, two, three, or four day job shadow experience.
