Internships, co-ops and other work experience

Getting experience related to your career goals can be a great way to apply what you are learning in the classroom. It also allows you to see if you want to pursue a particular occupation and work in a particular industry or setting. In addition, you gain an edge when your job search begins, because you will have skills and relevant experience that employers are seeking.

The Career Experience Opportunities Office now uses SeminoleLink for student registration, job listings and on-campus recruiting.

If you do not yet have an account on SeminoleLink, here is what you will need to do:
  • Create a profile on SeminoleLink.
  • Upload at least one resume into your account (the software can accept resume files in most popular word-processor formats, including Microsoft Word).
Create a new FSU SeminoleLink Account or Log in to an Existing Account
  • View the Orientation on-line. At the end of the on-line orientation, print the certificate.
  • Staff will check your SeminoleLink account to be sure you have uploaded a resume, and then make your account active for on-campus recruiting, job listings, resume books, and job search agents.
