FSUshadow connects students to one-day shadowing experiences providing exposure to a wide variety of career fields and industries.

Build your Brand

The FSUshadow Program introduces students to your organization and its commitment to informed career choices. Upon return to campus, FSUshadow Student Participants will become an unofficial ambassador for your organization once they are able to learn what it takes to succeed at your organization!

You may find your next star employee through the FSUshadow Program! Student participants who have insider knowledge of your organization will be excited to apply for full-time or internship opportunities within your organization.

Ready to be a host?

  1. Submit your experience
    Please click on the link below to submit your FSUshadow experience: (Please Fill out the survey completely)
  2. Rank and Match
    Once applications close on November 13th, FSUshadow Hosts can rank applicants between November 15th-November 17th. Matches will be available by November 28th. Students will be notified by December 1 if they match with a FSUshadow host.
  3. Review details for experience
    Between December 1 -December 7, Hosts will plan day-of details with FSUshadow Student Participants

FAQs

Is there a cost?
No, students provide their own transportation, and they are not compensated so the only cost if your time. Which students participate? -FSUshadow is open to ALL degree-seeking FSU students, both undergraduate and graduate level.

Can I host more than one student?
Absolutely! You can share the responsibility of hosting one or more students with a colleague or choose to host multiple students individually.

Can I host students on all four days or each individual day of the FSUshadow session?
We prefer for employers to host a student for one-day. This means you can create four FSUshadow opportunities for different days during the Winter 2017 session, December 18, 19, 20 or 21. The dates for FSUshadow do not work with my schedule.

Can I host a student another day?
If you wish to provide a Job Shadow opportunity outside the dates of FSUshadow, you can post an opportunity through SeminoleLink. For more information, email cc-gain-experience@fsu.edu
