What made you choose FSU?

I completed my undergraduate degree in English Literature at Florida State University, and it was a great experience. When I contemplated schools for Law, it was only natural to think of FSU as my first choice. 

Describe the importance of your research and work. 

I enjoy my work immensely as it incorporates my innate skills, my education, and my experience. I am able to capitalize on all aspects to formulate resolution of matters. 

Briefly describe your career aspirations. 

I currently work as the Insurance Risk Manager for a national asset management company, managing a portfolio of 70 properties and 20,000 residents nationwide. I am also an All Lines Insurance Adjuster and have been for several years. My goal is to teach on the university level, insurance, risk, compliance management. 

What advice do you have for anyone considering graduate school?

Contemplate what makes you happy and choose a concentration that you will love and allow you to not just make a living, but to live life. The opportunities are endless. Stay encouraged, empowered, and motivated to achieve your dream.
