ALERT for Students: Job Search Scams on the Rise
The FSU Career Center has seen a recent increase in sophisticated scams targeting students seeking jobs, internships and services.
Recent examples include: text messages confirming appointments you did not schedule using the Dunlap Success Center as a meeting location and emails asking you to deposit a check to gain access to the next steps in the interview process.
Their goal is to steal your personal information, financial data, or money. Be highly suspicious of these types of messages.
