Participants will be responsible for:
FSU Tuition: Per credit hour, based on enrollment. Except for internship credit(s), all other courses will be online.
Personal Items: Students will furnish personal toiletries, clothing, bed linens sized for a twin XL mattress, and bath linens.
Dining: Students will cover their own spending money for groceries and dining out.
Transportation: Students will cover all transportation to D.C. and while in the city (with the exception of a $25 Metro card).
Program Fee:
$10,000 per semester, which includes:
- Housing accommodations in Washington, D.C. with a House Manager to assist in transition. All units are fully furnished. The bedrooms provide a bed, a small desk and chair, a nightstand, and a chest of drawers for each resident.
- Utilities, Water, WiFi
- Each kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glassware, utensils, hot pads, and dish towels. Appliances include a full-sized oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. These are to be shared with those living in the unit.
- There are washers and dryers available in each area as part of the amenities of the residence. Students living in that area will need to share the washers and dryers.
- Placement in an internship such as State Senator Offices, Think Tanks, Law Firms, Advocacy Groups, Hotels, Museums
