Internships bring your academic classroom studies to life! These experiential opportunities provide exposure to careers matching your major or intended career path. Internships also position you as a more competitive candidate for full-time jobs or graduate school admission.
A study from the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) found that:
- The overall rate of conversion into full-time employment for interns was 48.4%.
- Employers made full-time offers to 56.5% of their interns.
Find an Internship On Campus Through InternFSU
The InternFSU program provides 100 on-campus paid experiential learning opportunities for currently enrolled full-time, undergraduate, degree-seeking FSU students during the Fall and Spring semesters.
Through the generous support of FSU’s leadership and administration, the InternFSU program provides high impact experiential learning opportunities for students to gain professional experience on-campus complimentary to their field of study or career goals during the spring and fall semesters. Students who participate in InternFSU will gain knowledge and skills related to career decision making and critical career competencies while in college.
The InternFSU program will:
- post all opportunities through NoleNetwork
- provide a technology platform to facilitate learning objectives, supervision and mentorship support, and student recognition through transcript notation;
- fund 50% of the student’s hourly wage for 120 hours spanning one semester.
InternFSU students may work a maximum of 120 hours per semester under the split funding program.
